Evaluation Criteria & Proposal Enclosures

Project proposals must address and enclose evidence for the following four evaluation pillars:

1. Quality of Publications

Rigorous assessment of previous peer-reviewed research outputs, citation impact, and experimental background of the PI and Co-PIs.

2. Social Impact & Translation

Potential social impact and translational character of the proposed idea. Prior alignment or co-sponsorship with industry partners is prioritized.

3. Track Record & Success Rate

Success rate of earlier research projects completed by the investigators, along with host institution infrastructure availability.

4. Translational Outcomes

Merit of the proposal in terms of verifiable deliverables (prototypes, patents, field validation) receives the highest determining weightage.
